Unraveling the Enigma: Genetic Study Reveals Local Origins of Mysterious Tarim Basin Mummies

Their reliance on dairy pastoralism, cultivation of nonnative crops, and use of irrigation systems demonstrate their innovative strategies for thriving in the challenging environment of the Taklamakan Desert.
