In a remarkable archaeological discovery, a statue of the Hindu god Vishnumurthy has been unearthed from a 20-foot deep well in Karnataka, India. The discovery of this significant artifact in a well, coupled with the ruins of a nearby temple, has left archaeologists puzzled. The site is rich with architectural relics and red clay bricks, hinting at a once-grand structure.

While part of the statue remains intact, including a pinda in the front right hand and a conch in the back left, some portions are missing. Researchers are continuing their exploration and believe the restoration process will be delicate and time-consuming.
