In a remarkable turn of events, a routine planting session in Elazig, Türkiye, has led to one of the country’s most significant archaeological finds. Mehmet Emin Sualp, a local farmer, stumbled upon an 84-square-meter mosaic dating back to the Late Roman and Early Byzantine period while digging a hole for saplings on his land.
